We have specialized in panel grooving for over 25 years.
With our 16Q Panel Groover we have capabilities not yet reached. Currently we can mill the following:
- V-Grooves (45 degree angles) adjustable widths from 3/32 to 3/8 wide
- T1-11 Channel grooves for outside sidings (3/8 wide groove)
- Square Saw Kerf groove (1/8 wide) also known as Eichler Siding
- Beaded Groove (our most popular)
With any of the 4 different blades we can space the grooves in 2 inch or 3 inch increments, giving you 24 different patterns on any plywood panel from ¼” to 1-1/8” in thickness, up to 16 feet in length.
Incorporated into the 16Q panel groover are two 15 HP coping head cutters. These give us the capability of doing tongue and groove and ship-lap on 2 long edges on panels from 8 to 16 foot in length, with thickness ranging from 3/8” to 1-1/8” thick.
We are still adding new tooling to meet new looks and demands.
